Here’s a new 2-piece regulation back yard flag stick. What I Love about it is the patented anchor system. Now I can just pull out the flag stick and mow over.
One of my golf buddies has a regulation flag with an actual cup - but the cup was tough to set and keep stable. In fact he actually set it in concrete this year.
It has really helped me focus on my alignment because I have a definite target to shoot to now. Plus it’s pretty cool.
You can read more about this golf flag along with other training aids and backyard golf equipment here.

The best practice is not necessarily done at the driving range. Now it is just as good to practice in the backyard.
“I have been using my mat and birdie balls for about 4 weeks now and I absolutely believe they are the best training aid I have ever used. I try and hit them every chance I can the results are that I have lost at least 5 strokes a round. I have it set up at the back of my driveway looking over part of my back yard. By the way my 7 year old grand son uses the mat more than I do, we let him hit real golf balls for now but that won’t last much longer.” -Joe Pantano
With great training aids like limited flight balls and outdoor golf practice mats that can be used in the backyard or driveway along with a golf mat net and a golf net mat set up, better practice now can be found in the backyard.
