The best way to improve your game is to practice more often. Because of the individual nature of golf, the only way to truly improve is to take it upon yourself to practice however often you need to get the scores you desire.

To help your swing practicing things learned from a lesson is essential, but that practice does not have to be done on driving range mats at the range, it can be done on realistic driving mats and outdoor pitching mats or backyard hitting mats that can improve your swing by using balls with controlled flight as useful golf training aids.
